Mother discovered daughter shot to death in car outside their Long Island apartment

A 33-year-old Long Island woman was shot to death over a $1,500 debt — and then found lifeless inside her car by her mom outside their Suffolk County home Saturday, a report said.

Rebecca Roth was found by her mother having suffered a gunshot wound in the driver’s seat of her Hyundia Elantra that was in the parking lot of Tall Oaks Luxury Apartments in Moriches on Saturday, News12 Long Island reported.

“Boom, boom, boom — he put five shots into my baby,” the victim’s mother told the outlet. “How do you kill a young girl that you hardly know, who has a family?.”

James Quininhetta, 40, who hails from Ridge, allegedly killed Roth over a debt of $1,500, according to authorities.

He turned himself in to police on Saturday afternoon and was charged with second-degree muderer, according to the report.

Quininhetta is being held without bail and is due back in court on June 12.
