British footwear brand Dr. Martens just released a line of ’90s-inspired shoes, and they’re giving us some serious nostalgic vibes. The collection, called “Buzz,” features leopard print, leather, and suede platform designs created to look like the ones the brand released over thirty years ago.

And if you grew up in the ’90s — or just have an affinity for an alternative aesthetic — then you know how iconic Dr. Martens shoes were (and are). Not only have they been worn by everyone, from Madonna to Gwen Stefani and even Sid Vicious of the Sex Pistols, but they played a significant role in ushering in the grunge fashion era.

“The Buzz has a sporty, streetwear aesthetic that our wearers haven’t seen from us in recent seasons. We’ve seen a big shift in women’s footwear trends being heavily rooted in the 90’s and nostalgia, so it’s the perfect time to bring back elements of such a sought- after archive shoe,” Dr. Martens Footwear Designer Bridie Husband said in the official press release. “There’s a sense of physical elevation and confidence that comes with a big platform sole and we’ve added padding for extra comfort, so we’re really excited to see how they will react to the new style and make it their own.”

Prices for this new line range from $130 to $150, and the shoes are selling out quickly. So, be sure to grab a few of our favorite pairs below while you can, and start feeling “Hella Good.”

If there’s one thing Fran Drescher from the hit 1990s sitcom The Nanny taught us, it’s that you can never have too much leopard print. These platform Docs are comfortable, can be worn by both men and women, and thanks to their cool, all-over pattern, they’ll add a little funk to any fit.

With a sleek black silhouette, the Buzz 5-Eye Milled Nappa Leather Shoes are casual enough to become your new everyday footwear. Available in sizes 5 to 11, they feature Dr. Martens’ signature yellow stitching, which has been a pillar of the brand since the beginning.

Let’s address the elephant in the room: it’s been said more than once that Dr. Martens’ shoes can be, well, uncomfortable. But I’m here to tell you that once you break them in, they’ll become the most reliable footwear you own. Grab this chunky brown pair and try it out for yourself; you won’t be disappointed.

These leopard-print suede shoes perfectly embody the ’90s-era alternative aesthetic. Pair them with a scrunchy, oversized flannel shirt, and your reliable ripped jeans, and you’ll be ready to take on the day in true Alanis Morissette fashion.

Mary Jane shoes first became popular in the early 1900s (around 1904). The style then experienced a major resurgence in the late 1990s, and then had another comeback around 2023. So, if you want to hop on the trend that seems to come back time and time again, we suggest snagging this black leather pair.

Of course, there’s only one way to make Mary Jane’s even cooler, and that’s by adding leopard print to them — which is exactly what Dr. Martens did with this latest release. And the fact that they’re available for under $200 is just an added bonus at this point.
