An emotional moment between the performer and Alex Fine in 2019 went viral via X this week as Ventura shared a devastating testimony in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex-trafficking trial.

In the resurfaced video, the 38-year-old dancer enveloped her partner in a hug after he completed a 50-mile marathon for domestic violence victims.

She kept a low profile in a black hoodie while wrapping her arms around the shirtless personal trainer.

“Now we know what that hug was REALLY about,” one X user wrote, referencing the domestic abuse Ventura has alleged on the stand. “Look at the pain in her eyes. That was an emotional layered hug.”

Another gushed, “to have a man like this! Who knows your trauma + past yet still loves you for you and SUPPORTS YOU.”

In March 2020, Fine described his motivation for the marathon — “regrettably … winging it” in Converse sneakers the day after his wedding — on his Almost Home website.

“When I got the news that my mom had been the victim of domestic abuse and violence, I really didn’t know how to handle it,” he wrote, explaining his decision to channel “paralyzing … anger” and “helplessness” into bringing awareness to victims.

“I was in excruciating pain, I was starving and exhausted, my ankle had swollen like a balloon, I could barely walk, but sitting there in that moment was so cathartic,” Fine recalled. “I hugged my family and we all just broke down and cried. It was emotional, but for all of us, it felt like a moment of closure.”

Fine and Ventura have been together since 2018, following her on-again, off-again relationship with Combs.

The couple shares daughter Frankie, 5, and daughter Sunny, 4, and has a baby boy on the way.

Ventura revealed her pregnancy news in February, showing her bump progress in court this week while describing the abuse she allegedly experienced during her decade with Combs.

The embattled music mogul’s trial kicked off Monday, eight months after he was arrested and charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution.

The 55-year-old is also being sued by numerous alleged victims in sexual assault cases.

The rapper’s legal troubles began when Ventura sued him for rape and physical abuse in November 2023, with the “Me & U” singer revealing Wednesday that Combs settled with her for $20 million.

The Grammy winner issued an apology to Ventura via Instagram last year after a 2016 video was released showing him viciously beating his then-girlfriend in a hotel.

The full footage was aired during the trial.

While Combs has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him, his legal team did “admit to domestic violence” in opening statements.
