According to KenPom, the Spartans own the fifth-best defense in the country and they’ve accomplished that feat despite playing the 21st-toughest schedule based on the offenses Sparty has faced.
The Badgers are no slouches on defense, either, but it’s the other end of the court where Wisconsin does its best business. KenPom has the Badgers’ offenses rated 12th overall, while BartTorvik has it at 11th.
