Last season, he had 16 catches for 208 yards and no touchdowns.

The Jets are thin at tight end with last year’s starter, Tyler Conklin, still available in free agency.

In addition, the Jets re-signed linebacker Jamin Davis.

Davis, a 2021 first-round pick of the Commanders, joined the Jets at the end of last season but never played for them.

He played nine games last year between Washington and the Vikings but did not start any.

They also added defensive tackle Byron Cowart, who spent last season with the Bears.

He had 2.5 sacks in 15 games.

The 28-year-old originally was a 2019 fifth-round pick of the Patriots.
