A massive sinkhole spanning hundreds of yards is endangering a town of 50,000 residents in north-eastern Brazil. Drone footage shows recently abandoned homes standing just feet from enormous craters threatening to swallow the entire neighborhood.
Brazil’s Municipal Engineering Department has said the sinkhole problem has been worsening because of the current intense rainy season.
