There’s no stopping this “Rollin’ Stone.”
After announcing a brief four-show leg of his ongoing ‘Rough and Rowdy Ways Tour’ and 30+ ‘Outlaw Music Festival’ co-headlining dates with Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan has added 15 additional ‘Rough and Rowdy Ways’ concerts to his 2025 calendar.
In total, the 83-year-old Nobel Prize winner and inspiration for the Oscar-nominated film “A Complete Unknown” is scheduled to play 53 shows this year.
As of now, none of Dylan’s solo ‘Rough and Rowdy Ways’ gigs will make their way to the Tri-state area. However, New Yorkers and New Jerseyans can see The Bard when he and Nelson bring the ‘Outlaw Music Festival’ to Long Island’s Jones Beach Theater on Friday, Aug. 1.
They’ll also hit Saratoga Springs’ Saratoga Performing Arts Center on Saturday, Aug. 2, Buffalo’s Darien Lake Amphitheater on Friday, Aug. 8, Syracuse’s Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater on Sunday, Aug. 10, Camden, NJ’s Freedom Mortgage Pavilion on Friday, Sept. 12 and Holmdel, NJ’s PNC Bank Arts Center on Saturday, Sept. 13.
If you’re wondering what to expect when seeing Dylan all by his lonesome, “the set list on this tour hasn’t varied much — save the occasional surprise, city-specific cover he’s thrown in more than a few times — and primarily focuses on the songs of ‘Rough and Rowdy Ways,’ released in 2020,” Ultimate Classic Rock wrote in a review of his November 2023 concert at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre.
Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming Bob Dylan shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale for the newly announced ‘Rough and Rowdy Ways Tour’ dates is Friday, Feb. 7. The same goes for the ‘Outlaw Music Festival.’
Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.
They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

Bob Dylan new music
In June 2020, Dylan released the two-disc “Rough and Rowdy Ways.”
Comprised of ten tracks, the elder statesman’s 39th album is yet another masterful entry in his storied catalog.
Ranging from romantic ballads (“I’ve Made Up My Mind To Give Myself To You”) to jaunty blues (“False Prophet”) to rollicking harmonica jams (“Goodbye Jimmy Reed”), Dylan demonstrates that even in his advanced age, he still has a few more tricks up his sleeve. This is no cash grab, the music here is clearly a labor of love.
For those wondering what the second disc is, it’s just a single song. “A Murder Most Foul” is a freewheeling, ambitious, nearly spoken-word 16-minute piece that must be heard to truly be appreciated.
