Although Whoopi Goldberg was just in Los Angeles last night to honor the late Quincy Jones at the 2025 Oscars, the longtime The View co-host managed to make it back to New York in time for Monday’s show. While her appearance on the episode was somewhat unexpected, we were also surprised to see that another co-host wasn’t at the Hot Topics table: Sara Haines.
Instead, The View fans were treated to a smaller panel consisting of Goldberg, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin and Alyssa Farah Griffin (Joy Behar, who is off on Mondays, was not in attendance, as expected).
The last time we saw Haines, she and her co-hosts were chatting with guest host Ariana DeBose when Behar tried to stir up some drama around the table.
During a discussion about some Real Housewives beef over who made more money, Behar wondered if anyone at The View had “ever gone that low” during an argument.
While most of the co-hosts stayed silent or said no, Haines gave suggested “maybe” when Behar kept grilling for answers. DeBose, of course, sat quietly and sipped from her View mug, much to the delight of the audience.
Without Haines around today, we’re all wondering where she’s been and when she’ll be back. Here’s what we know so far.
Where is Sara Haines on The View?
When The View opened its Monday show, Goldberg did not say much about Haines’ absence. After the ladies walked out to the Hot Topics table, she told the audience, “Sara is out today,” then was distracted by Navarro briefly dropping her notecards. After that, the conversation seamlessly transitioned into Oscars chatter.
When will Sara Haines be back on The View?
We’re not yet sure when we’ll see Haines again, but we’ve got our fingers crossed that she’ll be back on the show tomorrow. DECIDER has reached out to The View for more information.
